I know where you are at, trust me on that... I'm drinking beer after figuring out I need to dump another few hundred bucks into my AC system. I just gave up, and dove in, would not make it to the parts store in time. FleetPride keeps banker's hours.

I give up. I'm at the dealer in Colorado Springs now. I was down a week for the last set of repairs so I'm not gonna get a positive check for a while. I made it to the customer earlier and it was whining and getting tight but i was able to get it in the dock, sat for 45 minutes, and it cooled off. Fluid stopped boiling but was still very low. It drove fine 5 miles to the dealer where I needed to pull a Uturn in their lot to get in a spot and it only gave a quiet whine. So it seems to me there are two possibilities with my power steering. 1) I have a simple leak that i cannot find which is causing the fluid to get low causing the pump to overheat. 2) The pump is ####ed, causing it to overheat, causing it to boil fluid out of the top.

Out of financial purposes I only asked them to drain it, clean the reservoir, replace the cap, replace the filter, refill it, and bleed it. So far no issues anymore at all. I've done a few backs and drove through some strong wind. Seems to be as good as new. They couldn't determine what caused it to go bad but the mechanic and I both eventually agreed it was water contamination either from rain or truck washes. I'm betting that the KW that relocated the reservoir either managed to relocate it without draining the fluid or they drained and reused the same contaminated fluid. I doubt they didn't bleed it but more stupid things have happened at dealerships.

Yep, stealer got you. Sounds about right, they did not flush the system and sent you on your way.
