anyone ever blow the air horn for kids driving by?

Some creepy drivers basically have cat farms in their trucks. Disgusting people.

 

Heck, they usually won't even look up.

Cat farm? Are you speaking of the Nevada Ranches, per chance?

Southbound I-35 in Waco this afternoon a family was on an overpass. Three kids doing the arm thing with their parents encouraging them. I gave three blasts of the air horn and the entire family was tickled.

Some folks do trainspotting, some do plane spotting, and some do truck spotting. Power to them all.

 

It's one of the few things left that they still "appreciate" from us, and/or "love" about us. They quickly forget how their streets get paved, how their goodies get to WalMart, and their bridges get built. I know.

 

Hardly any kids do it now. Which makes me sad and surprise about the law maybe. But I passed by a red dodge mini van w/ two little kids in the back of the van. They did do the air horn pump with their arm. I was like well I should give a shot for my horn. But I do it to teenagers and even adults. Hell, sometimes #### the law. Let's have fun blowing horns to kids, teenagers, and adults. #### the cops about us. I do it, if I want to I'm a truck driver. So if the cops want to #### with me I will and it will be ugly. I love doing it when I get a chance. Love kids and everybody else.

 

It's because of electronics and entertainment being what it is now.

 

I had a kid two weeks ago standing out in his front yard off some highway in IL. I was waiting at a traffic signal. He waved, so I waved back. Then he pumped his arm, so I gave him a couple quick tugs. It was at a traffic light, no one was moving so no harm.

 

Blew the air horn with a 90 year old looking lady with a cigarette in here mouth, waving at me, today. What the hell... one last thrill before she dies
