Which trailers are the way to go for 3 car hauler

I think the only 3-car wedge on the market that really under 26k is Take3 ultralite you can go to Take3 trailer website and see it. I used to think trying to stay under 26 would work to avoid DOT but it didn't, in the Houston area, and I think most other metro areas too, DOT goons specifically target pickup trucks. It doesn't matter your trailer is rated 12k and your truck is 14k or less they still write you up because the book says if your trailer is more than 10k and you operate commercially....

The BigTex is the beefiest trailer of all the wedges, its empty weight is 8700 lbs it also has trailer hauling option built in. BTW, I have a like new 2016 BigTex for sale will make you a good deal Selling not because I don't like it but because I have TWO.

 

Man. Not to take business away from you and he’s obviously free to do what he wants, but there are so many used trailers for sale I wouldn’t think of paying for a new one in this market. Just my 2.

 

We just upgraded to a 5 car and our 2018 Quality Wedge 3 car is available for $8,500.

 

Where is your wedge 3 located? Does it have flip outs? Any pictures?
