I was in the checkout line of a store one time and the lady in front of me had some kind of issue with something or other that required the attention of the manager........she turned to me and said
"Mister, I'm so sorry for holding you up, I'll be done as quickly as I can.".
I looked at her and said,
"no ma'am, the fault is all mine. had I not gotten behind you, you wouldn't have had a problem. Take your time."

When there is a coordinated conspiracy to delay and frustrate @Dave_in_AZ , there is really nothing @Dave_in_AZ can do to help himself short of pulling another William Foster "bad day counter assault"

 

Try to go there between 11 PM and 5 AM.. Problem solved.

I have a habit of getting behind the person who thinks blue beacon is a detail shop .

 

That brings back memories. My first driving job was with Gordon. Bare bones truck governed at 61 with no windshield curtains and an APU. Not bad trucks at all, just slow.
