If you want to go flatbed - GO FLATBED.

No need to do a stint in vans first, just wasting time.

Opus, Chinatown and TennMan Thank this.

I've heard good things about Maverick and Boyd Brothers. Don't actually know much about either. I would pop over to the heavy haul section and ask for recommendations.

Transport National hires new cdl grads and probably make $1500 weekly or more.

Senn Freight Lines hires new cdl grads. The drivers say if you like west coast runs, they'll run you ragged!

Ive considered tmc. Im not sure what any of them will consider me. I didnt go to driving school. I did everything on my own, written exams, skills test. So not sure what they will consider me? And pretty sure none of my experience is verifiable being as it was all cash work and the time i spent driving with my dad (he's had his own truck and dump trucks for years local) while i had my cdl permit. Not sure if they will recognize that time either.

Sygma Network and McLane Food Service will hire with no cdl school.
It's tough refrigerated work, but pays really well. Submit an application and maybe luck out.
It's not that hard to make $70K in those jobs.

    Bluedew Thanks this.
