I heard there was big money at Ashley if you were willing to lump.

Well I've been at a HHG/padwrap carrier for 8 years and I thought I could handle Ashley. I'm even close to their Leesport site.

Well I tried to fill out an app on their website but all I got was a referral to a recruiter. Now I'm swamped with recruiters sending me blind emails. So they can't even have a SINGLE recruiter establish contact with me? They have to feed me to a ravenous pack!

That left a bad taste in my mouth, then I read this thread. Hmmmm,,,

Flying Dutchman used to drive for them and he used to rave about them. I wonder if he's still on this site because I haven't seen him post in a while.

 

You really have to take what lots of these posters say with a grain of salt. Most of them are either recruiters or getting a referral bonus to get you on with their carrier of choice.

 

Actually, this thread has been overwhelmingly negative on Ashley. And there was one poster who used to work for them who operated out of my area and I talked to on a number of topics (I was wrong about the name though) so he'd established some credibility with me.

And he's not on this thread.

 

Sadly I think you may be talking about Flying Musician. He passed away suddenly about a year ago. He was still with Ashley when he passed. He ran up to Leesport all the time.

This is hilarious because Leesport is one of the places they'll pretty much hire you on the spot. I'm not trying to drive you away but Leesport and Arcadia have the highest turnover.. It's tough in the NE, every time I had to spend a week up there it was almost pure you know what
