140k per year in Midland?

When you guys talk about what a load pays like this are you talking just the dollars and that is it? What I mean is I run crude as a company driver and average about $300 for a 10-12 hour day but also have full benefits and such. When I see these bigger money amounts thrown around does that include benefits or is that just what a guy gets paid and he is on his own for insurance? I've never really understood the discrepancy between what crude haulers get paid up here vs down in TX.

How much experience ya think is needed for the 140k? I’m at four years and hauling sand in the Permian at about 90k a year...

It varies per company! One thing I know for sure is this! The oil price is up! That means there’s more to be made in my humble opinion!
