Truck passed dyno. However, Cummins reported that it threw an aftertreatment code during the dyno. They did a parked regen and that cleared the code. We drove the truck back from Cummins and reported that it was again asking for a parked regen.
Any idea what the problem might be?
Thanks!

It has a regeneration system needs to be removed but we can't talk about that

Active Fault Code 2639
-
Actually, I just learned that there is no active code. That WAS the code it was throwing. The truck just keeps asking for a parked regen.

Interesting. On the New Posts page, out of 20 articles, 3 are about people yanking their hair out with CAT motors.
Now comparing apples to apples, being as there are a fraction of CAT motors in use compared to all the rest, doesn't that seem an unusually high percentage? -
You need the after treatment system looked at to see why it is asking for frequent regens or not fully completing them. Likely need the system cleaned. One way or the other, you need someone who can run Insite on it and force a regen to see if it is making proper temps and reading properly.
AModelCat, InRoadsOne, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -
Will give that a shot. Thanks for your input everybody!
