The A/C in the trucks at Monahans yard where I worked some of the time. You cannot live in a truck as they slip seat. Single guys? You can't have anyone in your assigned housing, or in the truck.

Good to see you. You still there or did you move on ?

I left after I got back from Vegas as things hadn't changed, which was around the middle of April. I've talked to a guy still there and was told it was absolutely busy as hell again. Calling folks on their day off to come work. Makes me think I should go back.MagnumaMoose Thanks this.

I'm working here now, been here since first of April. So far that have honored the guarantee. Work was slow in the beginning but it's picking up. I wouldn't call it crazy busy. I've had a couple good paychecks and some not so good. I don't know much history on this company but it seems they're making a genuine effort.

You started right when I left. My buddy says they are so busy they are calling folks on their day off to work, if they have hours. My first real check there was a monster and slowly went down hill. Oh well.MagnumaMoose Thanks this.

They're calling people in on days off, I just worked an extra day. I don't know why they're calling they really didn't need me. I think they're doing it to keep people from quitting. They don't have much work going on.The Crossword Trucker Thanks this.

It's dog eat dog for the business. They have to be go-getter to get those jobs, lots of competition. "Which one can give the most kick-back and perks."...that's the way it works in the patch. Our sales people always had a bottle of hooch to hand out before he took the order....
Brettj3876 Thanks this. -

You hit the nail on the head

Another company to look at is Resource Transport owned by PumpCo. They still run cans but the pay is 2000+ a week. My dad was there for just under 3yr and the lowest he made was 94k. Some weeks were pushing 2600
