I see Hogan frequently hauling for Carmax out here in Las Vegas.sxdime Thanks this.
-
Hogan is a truck rental company just like Penske and Ryder
sxdime Thanks this. -
This is Hogan Dedicated, the contract services side of Hogan Rental and they have been hauling cars on the west coast for a few years now. Have CarMax, some Ford Motor Credit red carpet lease work in California as well as wholesale auction work.
They pay by the hour, not great but comparable to LTL wages at $22-25 per hour.sxdime Thanks this. -

I just seen one today and thought about asking are they nationwide. I see them alot on i10 and i75 in fla
-
They have a constant ad in St Louis MO Craigslist trying to hire driver's. Guessing people don't stick around long.
-
It's not that they don't stick around long, this is a relatively new venture and business is growing. The experience factor comes into play. 3 years of auto hauling experience is required.
-
Don't forget the OT. 20+ OT hours weekly adds up. Drivers are making 80k+ annually
-
Does Hogan pay overtime? Outside of California domiciled drivers, overtime is not required and usually not paid except for LTL freight haulers that are competing with union carriers for qualified drivers.
Not knocking them, just curious as from what I have seen they pay straight time for all hours logged on-duty or driving. If they paid OT then it would be a decent compensation for local car haul work. 80k is on the low end for skilled car haulers, even non-union.06driver Thanks this.
