Someone put one on its side over here not that long ago

 

That would be the last time I would speak to that guy.

Me and another driver were parked in Arkansas with a set of airplane wings. 16’ wide 100’ long brand new trucks and trailers. Early the next morning a guy came up to one of my pilot cars and started asking all these questions. Who, what, when, where ect. He actually got offended when my pilot car politely told him “we’re not allowed to talk about the load”.

He stomped off and got in his $5000 dollar ex-Walmart cabover with super singles dragging an equally wore out double drop. He couldn’t service this customer but he certainly could start poking around and cause us headaches and unnecessary aggravation.

Yes sir. I’m not trying to talk down on the guy. He’s taken a basically free truck and turned it into a money maker. I wouldn’t run that type of equipment. That being said he can piss right off asking the questions he was asking.

 

I grew up in airports(long story), and I can't help but think back to my childhood whenever I see a Jetway.

 

A friend of mine stopped by the shop yesterday and told me the proper name for it is "sheep tunnel". I couldn't argue with that.
