    HELP ME PLEASE!
'12 Freight DD15 intermidant power loss.
No codes no chk eng light.
Not a electrical power loss. It acts like you took foot off the gas. Revs back on in a cpl seconds. Worst when loaded in afternoon ( on off on off constantly max speed 4 mph) Not near has bad at night empty till get up above 60. If i take off really really slow and build speed slowly barely pushing down 1-2 mm it does ok till i hit a hill. Which isn't option loaded has it won't increase mph that light on pedal. Did i mention no codes no chk eng light. Some times but not always the def level guage will blink red when does it.
    Shop#1 new batteries clean cables.
#2 new def level sending modual
#3 couldnt find a issue suggested dealer or "delete". No charge for diag since didn't fix anything.
    #4. New alternator
    #5. Engine sensor harness
#6. Freight dealer. New radiator. said only code in history "low coolant" pressure test found a leak. (Had to coolant twice driving back from shops 2 & 4. 2 let some out hose connection 4 broke a tube)
#7. Reluctant but out desperation did "delete"
I spent weekend tearing open harnes looking for chafing etc. Found def metering hot the touch engine off over 24 hrs. Disconnected plugs till seemed to stop. Was good for couple days testing it empty got loaded after about 100 miles started up again. Seems to matter if sits couple days has no shop has been able to duplicate it on test drives but all so busy sits 2 days before look at it and just bobtail. When down takes a day or two to start it again. Been suggested pndb box but that seems like electrical shut down not power loss. Also egr sensor I tried unplugging but set off chk eng light and got a code.

Sounds like you have a loose power connection to you MCM. And finding to confirm it before replacing parts will be impossible since it only happens under power.

I had problems with our ‘11 where inside the fuse relay box mounted by your steering column would ha a loose connection inside of it and or i’ve Seen fuses crack and supply power everytime you didn’t need it to.
Good luck, that may be all you need...

From your description on #1 sounds like a collapsing fuel line. What does #7 refer to?

Anybody check the gaspedal and its counterpart at the engine?
They can fail and not throw a code.

Does it have an engine protection module?

When i was going thru harness i found sticky glue like substance running down from where big wires brigde off to multi smaller ones just before plug going into mcm. I separated powers from grounds in separate casings and added a ground wire to block here.

Idk. I know 2 times i added coolant. 1st yellow chk eng then red then it shut down i dont remember eec spn or f #'s. I think the "protection" is built into software but a separate module for it got me. It's a 2012 so highly computerized.

Not sure. But I would try a throttle pedal regulator, for lack of technical term. They do act up and different each time I had one go bad.
