My engine brake stopped working. i checked the fuse panle under the dashboard. and the fuse is missing, im guessing somewhere along the way when i hit a bump im guessing it popped out, i dont no.
but i dont think that is the fuse i am looking for, cause its only a 5 amp. that just seems to small to run the engine brake.
and my cruise control stopped working too. and when i checked my fuse panle there is nothing there for the cruise control.
is there a nother fuse panle someplace? maybe under the hood?
its a 2004 volvo. its the smaller one, i think the 6 something series. with a commins????

Have you looked in the owners manual (if you have one) or on the back of the panel where the fuses go, most trucks have a schematic somewhere

Same problem at times here. Clutch pedal and switch on pedal are not contacting. Adjust clutch, pedal travel, replace hold back spring, check and/or replace switch on pedal.

if you look at the brake pedal and the clutch pedal there two microswitchs and they can be adjusted , they are mounted on a brackets ,when you push on the pedals you (must) here them click ,if not check the adjustment , sometimes the the return spring on the clutch will break the pedal will seat a little low ,and on the brake pedal if you have any play in it it will also seat low causing the microswitch not to work , try to adjust the swtichs

Maybe it's the computer, knowing Volvo they have a computer for it somewhere. Everything on them trucks is controlled by a computer, even the lights.
