    I just bought this truck. Under load of 47000 pounds. It takes me up to 20 miles per hour in the first 5 gears, I don't know what work has been done or not done to it. Trying to figure out if i should park truck . put it up for sale or take a chance and keep it. Does anybody know what work would most likely have already been done to the truck . since it has 585.00 miles on it.

    Is there a good chance , the egr has already been deleted. Truck has very little power under load. Before i throw more money into it. I'm trying to figure out what i have.

    Thanks for everybody's input. But I'm in the information stage trying to figure out what i got. And why if don't have the power it should have. There are no fluids leaking from anything. I believe alot of work had to have been done. In 585.000 miles.

    Had a guy once unloading next to me, we started to chat and he proudly told me that he just bought his truck couple of days ago, found a very low mileage for the year for a very good price.
    When I asked what engine does it have, Cummins or Maxxforce, he did not even know the answer. We opened the hood and it was a Maxxforce.
    When I told him that such a low mileage for the year most likely means that truck spent all its life in the shop, he replied-:"Oh, I did not even think about it that way".
    I kid you not, right after he pulled out from the dock, he broke down.
    OP, I don't have anything else to say to you besides "Sorry"...
