What do I do on 34? Most of the time I drink, and sleep. Sometimes I clean up my truck, or do minor repairs. I love it when I have a lot of food choices, as in choices that gives me a break from the truck stop food.

Cut the grass, repairs on the homestead, get drunk, let momma cook and feed me, wash my clothes, hire the girl next door to clean out the tractor, watch the NASCAR races, bother the dogs, play on the backhoe, make sure the garden spot is well tilled so the dust blows on the arshat neighbor all year, then when I get bored I try to find something productive to do.
My 34 is a 70 and I don't miss OTR one #### bit.spyder7723, already gone and buddyd157 Thank this. -
I do them at home. Try to hit the beach or go out on the boat but between trying to catch up on some ,sleep, laundry and errands I find it's tough to enjoy life the way I used to.

I would never insult a working man for working a lot and not having a life.
The problem I do have is the very evident lack of personal pride in one’s work and appearance, and the notion of getting lumped in with the same class of people myself.already gone, Coover, Wargames and 3 others Thank this. -
Have you met a Millennial? They not only have a preference but you are required to make that preference happen and tell them how awesome they are while doing it, OR ELSE. Trophies are not optional.spyder7723 Thanks this.

Well, seems this genetic coding (courtesy of society and government education) has been going on for a bit longer than that. You see this attitude today in many who are well into their 30's and 40's, not just "millennials".tscottme, Wargames and spyder7723 Thank this.

But wasn’t it your generation that gave the millennials participation trophy’s because you felt sad when you lost as a child and you didn’t want your kids to ever feel as sad as you did?
I blame it all on AlanThicke because instead of being a parent he wanted to be buddy’s with his kids.
Every parent before him was a strict parent.
Eh?tscottme Thanks this.
