Has anyone heard of SZL, Inc. out of Colorado Springs, CO. They seem to offer a streight forward lease program but I can't find much info about the company!

SZL inc. DOT# 483491; 15 trucks, 16 drivers; fined $2,010.00 in 2006 by the FMCSA ($1,100 for using a driver that tested positive, $500 for using a driver B4 the pre-employment test results were received, and $410 for false logs...they got off cheap because they were a small company.....next time it'll be worse); extremely high driver out of service rate which could suggest many different things. FMCSA suggests to the states that they inspect their vehicles and drivers each and every time they enter a weigh/inspection station.

I came across their site through a web search. what attracted me to them was the "guaranteed" 3000/wk. If any one finds out about them please post.

K&B Transport is saying they guarentee 2500 miles per week, driven or not. I have read on hear somewhere that companies that say that usually pay less for the "NOT" driven miles..
    Just a thought

Stay as far away from this company as you can.. My husband and I did the lease purchase thing with him a few years ago and he killed us...

He falsified my husbands DAC and ruined us finacially and is still almost 3 years later chasing us..

His contracts are full of LIES!!! Please PLEASE if you value your driving career you won't work for this guy...

The unemployment case that he appealed against my husband is even listed online...:biggrin_25513:
