Ain't that enough?!?!?Lonesome Thanks this. -
I'm convinced that ALL Chicago area "trucking" companies are just crooks. Makes sense considering how disgusting Chicago is. At least they picked the perfect city to call home for their raping of "drivers".
-
I dunno, I worked for a guy based out of Chicago, made good money, had great equipment, job was good. But he lived in Lake Geneva, WI.
-
Cant say anything about owner ops, but if you are a driver - they are fine. Just gotta ask for a newer truck and trailer when you sign up. Anyway, Im not vouching for them, just relating the information I got from my buddy who drives for them.
If you are an experienced owner op - the best way to go is get your own authority and be your own boss. -
I read Chicago in the title and it's in bad company forum. Don't need to read the thread. They are all the same. Probably owes drivers money, junk equipment, excuses as to why you don't get paid, 1099. Am I close?

This company will charge you additional $500 or more out of your pay if you get a ticket, no matter minor or major. Their equipment is trash. If you come in with a head on your shoulders, you will be the first to go. Some are very racist. They think you can't understand their language and proceed to degrade you. You will get cheated if you don't pay attention to your pay. I was a company driver and they took fees out of my pay one day, as if I was a o/o wtf. If anyone says this company is a good employer hasn't experienced their BS or just hiding it to receive referral bonuses . This company will make you catch a case by dealing with them. Owner or company driver, pass on this company. You been warned

All this whining gives no clue to a person like me who’s looking for objective reviews from drivers who have successfully ran with the company.
I mean if you’re out here doing dumb stuff chances are you’re going to get dumb consequences. And the way a lot of drivers make dumb decisions out here on the road I can guarantee that they are the culprit to the unfavorable situations they find themselves in. -
I was wondering the same thing
