    There isn’t a driver shortage, there is a shortage of experienced drivers who are willing to put up with how a mega carrier treats them. How many people would be willing to sit for over 15 hours because they’re not allowed to do a simple maneuver that is done countless times a day in this industry? Not many, except for the new drivers who are beholden to a contract. Anyone with experience and common sense would be on their way to a new job by about hour 4 of that deal.
