CR England: No blindside, cant pickup load

Blindside it. England actually says no to blindsiding? That is goofy.

 

What choice do you have other than blindside? There isn't too much that can go wrong unless you hit a truck, or immovable objects, or you just snitch on yourself. All of that can be avoided if you get out and look. That may be England's policy, but you must remember, its only against policy if you get caught...

 

If he is worried about getting fired...call dispatch say I either have to blindside this or cancel the load. Not safe enough to excute manuever. Put the ball in Englands court.

You know if it's night or weekend dispatch they'll come up with an ascinine solution to the problem, or they'll just say, "We'll call someone out there to help you."

 

Yep, thats why I blindside it. Ask another driver to watch your blindside. Pay them $10 if you have to.

Yeah. If I have an issue that I can't resolve (or more likely it's best to let someone higher up at the company handle it) I'm getting antsy if I haven't heard back in fifteen minutes. At fifteen hours? I expect to be somewhere else doing something else. Not waiting around.
