Go talk to Carter Express in Anderson. When I got out of flatbed I joined up with them. Since March I've only been out two nights in any week, many times I'm home every night. I think my move to Carter was the right thing. Good luck!
Looking for a great home daily or home most days!

Do they have a terminal in Indy? Last year when I talked to them about a homedaily they were in Anderson.

Thank you so much for this video! I just put in an application for them last night. I was hoping to learn more about their training program. I’m out of Illinois so I wonder if that will be an issue. Do they hire out of Illinois and do you know anything about their hometime. Loved the video though! It’s so good to see someone proud of their profession and company. With so much negativity in this industry this was refreshing. Andrew

What you're looking for is abundant in the Northeast region. Consider moving.
My last company job was Monday-Friday day shift, home every night but one (my choice). $93k was my last annual take. W-2 company.
I'm O/O with authority now.Freak_On_A_Leash Thanks this. -
Why in the world would you not want an ltl linehaul job? I run linehaul out of Indy myself and love it. I wasted a lot of years running truck load, local grocery stores, etc before I got smart and came over to ltl.

There is good money in ltl, but not everyone wants to work a little harder
-
Work harder? I'm not sure what that means when you're 100% drop and hook running linehaul. I never see the inside of a trailer or docks. I never have to deal with shippers, receivers or lumbers.

If you are local ltl, you have to do more than just line hall, a friend of mine live in in Indiana, and work for old d, he does well for him self there, he also run line hall, but some guys just want to get in the truck go down the road, line hall ltl is good work on good paying also
-
I assume the OP want to be home 'nights'. Most LTL linehaul is night driving. Unless you manage to get to the top of the board after 30 years or so.

I run linehaul for OD out of Indy
