I think I should go company first and learn the business before I do lease purchase or lease on a truck. Sound smart??

So I looking around and keeping my opinions open for the future and came across ccc who offered me a home every night position as a o/o about 20 minutes from my new house what do you guys think about those rates?
-
thats less than $1/mi
hourly its not bad, about $55/hr for the longest run. Figure 3 hours up to N.Charleston and 3 hours back. Dealing with the ports might be iffy, I've heard wait times can get insane and theres nothing in that contract about getting paid demurge.
I think you can do better. -
