A few of you have probably read a few of my posts and know i was "pre-hired" at swift a month or so ago. Apparently new procedure is for students to get their DOT physical and CDLI from their home state before getting training at one of their facilities. I have completed those things and have tried calling them to schedule myself for training, but every time i call the phone rings about 6 times then goes to a voice mail saying "We're sorry... All of our representatives are currently busy with other drivers. Please leave a messege and we will get back to you." Well I left a very detailed messege and havn't recieved a call yet. Today i also found an email for their "drivers central" and sent them an email. There was also a messege center on the website where i sent them a messege. I havn't received any word from them yet, but its only been a few days. I was wondering if something was going on at swift. Did they stop hiring, or are they cutting back? Any information would be great, thanks.
Something Fishy maybe?

I may be wrong about this, but it seems like I have seen a post or two about them no longer hiring for school. At least in some locations. And I believe I also saw something about at least one of their schools being in some kind of trouble.
It seems to me, that if I were in your shoes, I would not waste any more time with them. Try another company.

We don't call them "Notso" for nothing.
