Just tell safety to look at the drive camera. On second thought.... Might not be a good idea. :angel10:

Yea, forgot about that one. I was thinking I should add some red bull or monster next time I add fuel.

I have my gps on the dash and set it to show speed .. I also scan my gauges often which helps control your speed and also tell if you have a major air leak before the brakes go up in fire ..make it a habit to scan gauges it saves you from tickets and you spot odd temps or low air pressure faster

Straight pipes help you hear your rpms and give you a pretty good idea of your speed and how hard you're working it, just saying.

I have driven 10 speeds before and never had much issue regarding this because I had to pay more attention. The company I'm with runs strictly automatics, except the dudes running flat bed. Driving auto has turned me into a lazy driver kinda, I don't mind it but miss driving manual sometimes. You are right, I do listen to talk shows pretty loud at night. Only thing that keeps me awake at 3am ;). I'll keep a closer eye on my gauges from now on, and keep the radio a bit lower.

Ok, so you drive for Schneider and you're in an Auto. Are you using cruise or just the pedal? If you're on cruise the jakes WILL kick on before you hit 73. I don't tend to use the cruise much in PA because the way Schneider sets it up it doesn't work well in a hilly environment.

Your best defense here is to be checking your gauges. Also, if your foot is on the throttle and the truck goes over 63 the Qualcomm will ding at you which is a hint. If the truck goes over 68 with or without throttle input it will ding at you and log excessive overspeed until you get back under 63mph. I believe at 72 or 73 it registers as a critical.
