I always look at Gross yearly. To many people get into chasing pennies and end up working for them.

The Ortega cartel flat rate 25000 a load for drugs only 10000 for a load of people if I remember you leave the reefer on and don't cook them

I look at gross weekly. Then I look at how much time I spend on the job and how much I have left for personal use.

Looking at CPM is deceiving and stupid

Maybe lol, I've came across a couple of west coast owner ops. They told me they bring loads back to the east and work the east for x amount of weeks. They don't do back west til the go home

You guys think I’m crazy if I took an offer for .47 reefer with 4/6 stops then backhaul back? They do 63.00 a day off your daily gross for per diem tho.
    Is that a good offer?
    Personally, I’m 2nd guessing the .47 CPM.

On the west coast, 40+ cent per mile jobs are a rare occasion.

    Okay, 25% guy... BIG question!!
Do you show your drivers the “official” rate con? Even if you said yes, I bet you don’t.

    snowwy Thanks this.

I absolutely do but we are on a dedicated contract 2.00 a mile plus fsc and if there is a backhaul not very often we get the rate going back plus whatever the backhaul pays ...my carrier sends them the rate with every dispatch but I understand your distrust
