Mack truck plastic mirror cover removal.

    Hey Drivers I'm trying to figure out how to remove my mirror cover from my Mack truck so I can access the my Cb radio coaxial cable. Anyone have any experience with this? I already checked YouTube but I only saw videos for volvos and freightliners.

    Im guessing it will be same idea..Mirrors will have to come off first then look for a clip of sorts..

    I found out how to do it.. it's two plastic tabs one on top and the bottom, just pull those out and the plastic chrome cover will come off.

    Those look oddly familiar, oh! I use their big brother on coax when I’m climbing broadcast towers.

    On a 2018 mack truck roll your mirror all the way out you'll see two clips half way down unhook them pull your mirror off and the there's 4 screws take them out then the chrome cover will pop off

    I have a 2018 Mack Granite dump truck and somehow managed to let the coax fall down inside the mirror so that I can't get to it without taking the mirror apart. The problem is after reading the posts above I have an idea of what to look for but I'm not seeing what the previous posters mentioned. I do see on the right side of mirror in between the mirror and the casing there is a clip that can be unfastened but I only see that one and don't want to get started not knowing if I can finish and get it put together again. Does anyone have any pics or more detailed description? Thanks!
