Thank you for your reply. How much can that thing support?

It will depend on the tire and axle ratings. I have yet to pull a RGN. The one I pictured is rated for 51 ton capacity.

Not much truck stops in anchorage and I'm not even sure where you could leave your truck, maybe make few calls to private companies and see if they willing to help out. Or Home Depot/lowes parking lots/Walmart parking lots. If you have 3 days to wait it's actually even better. Patk you truck, rent a car and explore Alaska. Whittier, Seward, Homer, Kenai, Denali National park. Also, you should make some kind of reservations because it's a peak season right now.scottied67 and Lepton1 Thank this.

Thanks for the info! We got the reload moved up to Saturday, but still got all of Thursday and Friday to kill. Thinking of renting a car and driving down to Seward. Just the truck parking is the problem - might have to pay for a motel just to get a safe place to park. Too bad, because we actually prefer to sleep in the truck when the weather is cool. Anyway, we're on our way. We are in Frasier River canyon right now - girlfriend is driving and I'm typing this, heres our view right now...
DUNE-T, fargonaz, Dave_in_AZ and 4 others Thank this. -
Oh you are taking the scenic route.
Depending on where you started from.
I went out of L.A. once and went up via interstate 15 and Edmonton. Technically longer but better highway. Plus I went in the winter.
The highway in Northern BC is closed in the winter.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Which highway are you referring to?
