I am thinking about buying an older Kenworth Daycab. I was thinking either 70's or 80's W900. I like the look of the older body style. My price ranges only up to $10,000. I would like some advice on what kind of problems I will see in a truck similar to this. I have been around truck the whole time while I grew up and I know that I have my work but out for me. But I would also like to use this truck for harvest season. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

How good are you at "field repairs"?

I am fairly mechanical myself but not real experienced as far as field repairs goes.

I know where you may be able to get an 85 in pretty decent shape(needs paint) with a 425 cat and a 13 spd with a 90 inch sleeper and a queen bed in it for about $10,000! Could just take the sleeper off and sell it and make it a stretched daycab!
