He is not under Dispatch and he is off duty driving personal conveyance. That edit would not be illegal

Quick question. You said your trailer was low when you got back to it. And you ripped your airlines off. Did that happen because you had your airbags dumped on your first tractor and didn’t realize it?

The airbags were up when it first came off. Trailer was low because it was slanted on the shoulder. The hook and springs that were holding up the lines came apart for some reason and the airlinea started dragging. It was a big tangled mess.

And yes I could easily get back to my car by calling Uber up or something but I actually chose just to stay here instead.

I went to sleep after they finished with the repairs around midnight, woke up around 0700, then just said to hell with it. It is over an hours drive to get home. I just stayed here in Terrell and decided to get an early start heading for Cheyenne as soon as my 34 was sone, which is just about now in fact.

This dude can match up with x1heavy for his book authoring skills. Do I get credit for a book completion if I go back and read the last 29 pages?

I’ll probably just wait for the Cliff’sNotes to come out

What waste all that time waiting on TA to Fix a rather small issue. You could of bought all the parts and done it you’re self in about 30 minuets max.

I didnt really see a question from OP but yes, automatics take some getting used to. The first one I drove was in a Volvo. Only thing I didnt like about it is when you stop, it kicks itself out of gear. If you stop at a redlight on the hill, you had to hold the brake until you gave it some gas for it to kick itself back in gear. They are nice but Id rather do my own shifting. As for staying at a TS for 34 hours being ten miles from home-Nope, not me. Of course, its every individuals decision to make. That TA in Terrell is a big truckstop but I liked it better when it was Rip Griffins. Had some really good food back then, though somewhat expensive.

    OP,
Did you notice how much more rested you felt after not having to shift a manual? Did you feel safer, more safe, or a million times safer having both hands on the wheel since there was no shifter? When you could have been in an accident because it didn't shift correctly, did you consider the fuel mileage gain to calm yourself?
