Where to park for night time showers?

    It would all turn into White Noise if you allowed yourself time to get used to it.

    Yeah, I do it only and ONLY if the pumps are near empty. Park on the pay line at the last pump. If someone really needed to, since I am at the last pump they could back out and go around to exit without too much trouble.

    Yeah but you can choose from nearly any spot in the lot. I used to park in the back nose in where I know I cant get blocked in. Or back in to an end spot so there can only be one truck next to you. Or look for a truck thats not running on a hot day, theres a good chance its dropped there. Also stay clear of the shop and dumpsters.

    ^This right here. Getting a shower at the times I roll out and come in is a gong show. I usually use the pilot app and see if showers are available or not. Especially when you run alot of east coast the truck stops aren't very big and there isn't many showers. But if I go at 2am for a shower there isn't any line and I can be in and out in under 15 minutes. Anytime I try to grab a shower around 8-10pm I usually have to wait around a while. I don't use up my 70 hour on duty for 8 days so starting my shift than taking a shower is no biggie.

    Best advice would be to shower when its more quieter namely in the mornings after you've finished driving this will help you relax and get to sleep if your not doing much during the day why shower before you start work? Keep in mind a shower will contribute to you getting sleepy then of course you have to start popping pills to stay away which totally counters what your body is telling you.

    I always feel fatigued after a shower. Almost all my showers are done before bed now, not after waking up.
