Are you seriously that naive?
No engine maker suggests extended idle at min 600rpm. Or ever did. 900 rpm or more is required on DEF or old school engines.

Mmmm, my Volvo had a "Smart Idle" system.
It idled normally like 90% of the time, but would turn itself up a little at times, and also would regen itself during the night.
Yea, it was great. -
The Detroit dd15 will do a regen even while idleing.

Is it telling you to do a regen in the morning after idling all night? If so, thats perfectly normal operation for the new trucks. It is a preventive regen to counteract all the idling you just did. Quit idling and it will quit asking.

I see Schneider idle them things 24/7. I think they even idle when their on hometime.
