a you sure about the engine brake rocker adjustment? i having problems with the 06 i drive. and the guy working on it said it was 7mm. now 7mm is a big gap, but all the jake rocker arm had a lot of play after turning the motor over to the correct postion. but i was just there to watch and never did this on a isx motor before.

Did you have the Jake Brake recall on that motor? If you do not know, call a Cummins shop asap to see if you have one of those units. You will need the vin and or the serial number off of the engine. Make sure you do not have one of these motors! If you do, get it into Cummins and let them do the repair. There should be no charge to you. I don't recall what the repairs entailed, but the shop I had the work done at had one that failed, blew the rod right out of the side of the block and destroyed the crank along with the pan.
