I've read every single thread on here with an eagle express line tag, they were as specific and helpful as your comment.

They run ,or at least ran Peoplenet Elogs. Not too bad really. I never had any issues.
Mostly Volvos, ten speeds, but were going to automatics when I left.
We had no team runs where I live so I have no idea on that. I personally would never team.
I worked part/time for them for a little over a year, had 4 different driver managers. Not because they were being promoted either. They quit.
Oh, and be very leery, they will make changes to your pay and hours without any notice to you.
And the best part, unless your already insured with health insurance, you will HAVE TO buy theirs!!
If all that sounds good to you, you'll be Hunky Doorey!!
Good Luck my Friend!!Last edited: Jul 28, 2018

Yes thankfully I am already insured through my wife, that was a reason I didn't go with Salmon. They said I had to take their insurance no matter what. If the route is how they say its only teaming 2 days away at a time, I can handle that for the money they are paying. Nothing being home 3 days a week in this area pays 80k a yr. Hopefully someone who has teamed with them sees this post

Sounds like you got into a team run up to the east coast. Not bad if you don't mind teaming. I started with them in 2007 and have been hauling mail since 2005. Decent company if you don't have to use their health insurance. the company has a bad habit of deciding to change the number of hours your run pays and wont say a word to you. So watch your pay stubs. Most payroll issues get fixed quite quickly with a phone call to your contract manager. Problem is the contract managers are mostly new, can answer a phone, start up their computers and nod their heads up and down. If you want to learn the ins and outs of the company talk to other Eagle Express drivers. Here to help

Once you get hired on, keep an eye on the company job openings in your area. They are expanding quite rapidly and home daily solo runs come up often if you decide to change runs. And you will have priority on the new runs over new hires.

Thanks, Ill keep that in mind but it is not likely where I live, I'm 90 miles one way and 130 the other from a major town. This is just a new route/team relay in between they're starting, I won't be driving a lot longer, maybe another 24 months at this point. I'm about to start grad school and retire from trucking when I finish.
