When I hauled boats that were on trailers the boats were tied down at the bow with two 2 inch straps and one 2 inch strap on port/ starboard side of stern. Also trailers were on crossmembers providing a solid contact point.

The shipper had me run 2 inch straps to the front and back where the boat hooks to it’s trailer. They did want ANY straps on the trailer. 6 figure custom boats and they about lost their mind when I told em im not hauling it without at least 3 is on the trailer. 1 over the tongue 2 on the axles. So far so good.
SixShooterTransport and stwik Thank this. -
The boat is where the money is. Why do they care about the trailer?

They’re nice trailers. Disc brakes, painted to match the boat, nice rims, leds, ect. But still my thoughts exactly.stwik Thanks this.
