I'd pick it up, rub some grease all over it, and then at another truckstop, throw it down next to the catwalk steps of a mega carriers tractor. Then you can watch him try to figure out where it came from. That is if he does any kind of pre-trip walkaround.

 

It’s actually meant to resemble a postal barcode. And it’s missing a leading L which I never corrected when I signed up here.
