Did you take pills? I've had some trippy stuff go on with just advil PM. One time I was sick and took nyquil and advil pm st the same time and woke up 17 hours later thinking I was in underground tunnels hunting demon groundhogs.

I recently went from home every day to OTR flatbed and it was a horrible first few weeks. I couldn't fit tarps in my box so had 2 of them strapped and my ladder as well. Kept hearing how people steal flatbed equipment all the time so I got paranoid. Middle of the night I would wake up many times and quickly check to make sure it was all still there. Now I'm more relaxed and if things are stolen, oh well.

been doing the brake thing for 35 years now ..... once I was inside eating and truck was parked on a hill and kept wondering if I set the brakes and ended up going out to check ... or sleeping and wake up and grab the knob just to make sure .... always sounds like some body is breaking in the trailer at 3 am ..... wait till you get old and driving down the road and start thinking about dumb stuff like did I put the fuel cap back on the passenger side ..... I have pulled off more than once to check some pretty dumb stuff

I don't know how you box haulers in your full height condo sleepers do it.

Moderate wind is enough to shake my midroof short sleeper with an empty flatbed and disturb me if I'm not fully asleep yet.

I'll get really mentally active quickly thinking someone hopped on to my steps or is picking with my fifth wheel before realizing I locked the doors and check my fifth wheel as part of my PTI. Still takes a while to wind back down sometimes.

It's easy ... Spend a few years sleeping right under the angle deck, next to the head closest to the flight deck, getting used 1500 times ... a little truck rocking is no big deal.

    baha and Oldironfan Thank this.

I have a feeling I may have sleep apnea, however I could be wrong. Feeling tired all day even after 11-12 hours of sleep sometimes. Just last night I slept 13 hours and woke up tired as ####. Seems to be getting worse day by day. Barely remember what I did the day before anymore.

I take melatonin to help me sleep but that's pretty much it. Could probably be it. I'll stop taking it and see if it makes a difference.

Get more exercise. Do leg lifts in your bunk or run around that #### truck 6 times. That ought to get some attention. :)

Just had a friend/driver stroke from stress/heat/fatigue you name it. He's done truckn.
