    Hi guys thanks in advance,
Im a owner op out of st. Louis mo. I am leased on to american global express. They are a smaller company. They promised the world but in reality i am going under with them. I can bairly make my truck, insurance etc payments. I made more as a company driver . They pay no fuel surcharge and i average less than grand a week. Is there anyone out there that can give me a hint in what direction to go so that i can make a living with this truck?

There add and a tricky recruiter. I was doing fine at the begening with my original dispatcher. Then she got fired. I have been through two new ones who quit and now i have a nice one that is a bit overburdend . i have been paying for people to learn.

I have no complaints at Mercer out of Louisville. They have a van division. I'm in the flatbed and not sure how the van side works exactly. But those guys seem to like it too. Have heard you can gross amazingly well during the Xmas rush if you like to keep the doors closed. Pretty good the rest if the time too. No trailer needed. Good luck whichever way you go.

Mercer is mostly skateboards..... I would give Landstar a call. They will supply you a trailer like already mentioned. They will pay you within a 2 days soon as you turn in your paperwork for a small fee, I think 2%. I think this route should get you back on your feet then you can choose something else. There Easy to get along with and very helpful. I use them very very seldom, but I’m on a different loadboard. Anyways.... you have nothing to lose.
