Hey shortbus, tomorrow at noon go look at the sun for awhile and then maybe you'll understand something about the concept of bright lights not being good for your eyes.

There are good quality LED headlights as swaan noted and there are the cheap universal ones that are not DOT legal which most people use. Most new vehicles and trucks come with LED lights factory that projected and aimed correctly.

    swaan Thanks this.

It's not about just any LED lights.

Its about the stoopid drivers that dont get the CORRECTLY AIMED LED lights, which blast the light everywhere.

Aftermarket LED are NOT aimed correctly, so yes, they are annoying AF, esp when behind you.

It's always the cheap uneducated tards that blind people with there cheap China LEDs or hid headlights. If they actually took the time to do some research and purchased the DOT approved lights we wouldn't have the haters. Now then, once you get the proper lights , go aim the dam things.

I've had speaker LED head lights in my truck for 5 years and never get flashed. That's because there quality lights ,aimed in the right direction.

100% in agreement with swaan. I have upgraded my headlights to the 4th gen JW Speaker LED with heated lenses. I replaced the buckets as well and went to great lengths to ensure they were properly aimed and had to purchase longer adjustment pins to achieve this. the JWS lights have an excellent cutoff that is even stepped lower towards oncoming traffic. absolutely the best upgrade I've ever done to my truck.

the issue is people that buy LED's and just swap them out, THEY MUST BE AIMED! they will always be pointed high and blinding to oncoming traffic when switching from halogens without being properly aimed, which is difficult in an older truck because the adjustment pins are always seized into the buckets. and if by chance they are not seized in, the pins are too short to aim them low enough.

    swaan Thanks this.

oh, and to those that swap out halogen bulbs for HID kits without changing the housings to those with aspheric lenses, I hope you crash and burn.

Why does Raney’s charge sales tax on out of state shipments? I think there shouldn’t be any sales tax due.

Because it's easier to just collect sales tax on everything instead of just a small percentage of their sales.
