So I've never been down in TN... I've got a load going to Lebanon, TN and will be coming down I24 and need to get to I40... Is it best just to stay on 24 to the junction with 40, or is there a good way around Nashville???... I was looking at what appears to be a beltway around Nashville... The 155 I think?
Many thanks in advance.
Best way around Nashville, TN

I'd take the 155
Either way is ok if it's not rush hour.
I usually take 155 though.Last edited: Aug 9, 2018

I always take 155, ever since an oversize hit a bridge downtown. But I come south on I-65 most of the time. In my opinion if there's a loop, take it.

I run 155 anytime I'm passing through Nashville, heading to Lebanon from 24 that would be the route I'd take for sure.JoeyJunk, Cattleman84 and Suspect Zero Thank this.

I always go that way. Watch your speed. Several unmarked work the area. Just follow the airport signs. 239 in Lebanon has a truck stop, and is where most of the industrial parks are.Lepton1, shogun and Cattleman84 Thank this.
