A lot of drivers forget about TN-155. You all gave good advice. It's a borderline bypass during rush hour. I always advise people that if you're approaching Nashville 6:30 am to 9 am or 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, park for that time if you have the hrs to keep running after that. That has got to be ran during night hrs if possible. I would almost rather do Chicago sometimes
Cattleman84 Thanks this. -
No one delivers or picks up at Nutro(Mars) there anymore. They have a warehouse down on 109 and 840. Uncle Pete's closes at 2200 or did. I like my truck to much to go in there.

No sir, not at all. I didn't say JUST use Google Maps. Anyone who wants to argue that there is better up to the moment traffic than Google Maps is quite naive. I run SmartTruckRouteII on a tablet personally, but when I'm in traffic I keep Google Maps alive on my phone telling me of slowdowns in my headset.
Cattlemen, you can't run Google Maps while you drive? It'll get you there faster than anything else. If it points you off the main drag then you have to look closer. -

Since we mentioned Nashville here, is it legal for truck to go under airport on 41?
-
Drove LTL in Crashville. Murfreesboro Rd (41) is a truck legal route. Depending on time of day, can get real crowded and several lights.WildTiger1990 Thanks this.

41 runs along the airport. If you are talking about 255 Donelson Pike yes you can run that from 40 over to 41.WildTiger1990 Thanks this.

I’m not sure where you think that I said Briley Parkway wasn’t the best way???? Anyway, it may be and may not be, depends on whether there is traffic or a wreck on it at any given moment.
I was born in Tn 45 years ago and been driving here for 30, not naive.
Technology is smarter than all of us though.
