Well... ended up leaving the line haul job even though they said theyll move me to city p&d work. Company was R&L, now working for OD running p&d and absolutely love it. Non-stop work makes the day go by fast. Its physically demanding but lazy at the same time. This company has their stuff together.

All my work is conducted on a galaxy s8 phone that I can also use to call my company. Need fluids? Get fuel and def and there is a vacuum for the truck. Overhead is the fluid lines like an oil shop, just add what you need. I see eye candy all day long. Actually excited for my uniform clothes to come in. 5 short/pants, 5 tops, 2 hats, and a coat of all my picking. So happy here!

Do they have cameras in their trucks?

 

Yeah they do! And we have sweet ones. The money is dope too. I dont speed or stress about sitting in traffic anymore. Im paid hourly. Quit smoking too and we get discounts from a list of companies like verizon. Day cab single axles are nimble as hell.

Nope! Governed at 65-66 which is speed limit for trucks in my area. Eaton 10 transmissions, took 5 mins to adjust to. Up shift at 1100-1200 rpm. Use peoplenet system. Barn is super clean, drivers lounge is sharp. They beat into your head they are a premium LTL company and service, and make you feel like it too.

Just an update.
Got a job at a local concrete company driving front dump mixers
Started me off at $18.00/ hour, with a dollar raise every 6 months until I top at 21.00/hour.
40 plus hours a week, no weekends, no holidays, benefits are so so, and the trucks have working AC in them.
Boss is super laid back and has already given me a PAID day off to take my wife to the doctor.
Gravy Train riding on biscuit wheels.
