Nothing I have read says that I CANNOT have a beer or two during my 10 or 34 hr breaks. Should I so desire. Thus, it seems to me that its none of any ones business what I do, unless my company says no.

Meaning that, some need to mind their own business, before they mind mine.

If I'm not trolling the lizards, and not buying smack from the local dealer. I'm not actually committing a crime. As long as the empties are thrown away before I leave in the morning.
And I have not partaken less than 4 hours before my duty shift begins. As per FMCSA.

Checking for under the influence for folks stoned(weed, pot, etc) they use oral swabs, blood tests(same rules as DWI,refuse an you lose your license for however long), sobriety tests are the main ways I understand they test for drivers suspected of smoking pot. Simple things like smell also. Anyone who has smoked or knows someone who does, or has been in a pot shop in Co or WA for ####s an giggles will understand. Pot for the most part is very strong before smoked. An after being smoked you can smell it if someone has just gotten done or has smoked in the last hour or two. Plus it depends on how they smoked...Blunt or joint the odor will be much stronger and will stay on them just like tobacco. Bowls, Vapes, Bongs, etc...doesn't last as long unless your right on top of them.

Before someone sends a lynch mob...If your going to puff away, don't drive a big rig. Your just going to get screwed if your caught. Insurance, cops, your company, whatever. So...till it becomes legal via the Feds an they rework the rules abstain if you got a cdl. An yes the rules need reworked. If your on a 34 an at home or in a hotel...wtf do I care if you want to eat a brownie or smoke a joint? On duty? You deserve what you get for using poor judgment. Just like you would if you were drunk.

Save the preaching. ;) I'm not here to debate this subject. Just saw a post about testing an figured I'd share.

    Craig Jones: Right...

Pastor Clever: Give me a little for my cataracts.

Smokey: You didn't put in on this man.
