    Ok,

And since I feel bad now, I'll answer your original question. Just take the turnpike. 322 is tore up & a mess around state college. 476 down from 80 Has big hills, curves, tunnels and tons of traffic from people commuting in.

    Best of luck to you.

I don't have a problem with hills, curves, tunnels, or traffic. I haven't been on every road, but I've been in every state & most cities, & I've been through the Appalachians & the Rockies. 76 through PA just seems to have more than its share of pains in the ###. I'd just prefer to shave off a little stress, if I can. If not, no big deal. Like I said -- I'm still new new at this. It's only gonna get easier the more I do it.

You won't be able to avoid the things you said you don't care for in PA. 76 is actually the easiest way to do it. But it is very expensive for whoever pays the tolls. The hills are probably worse on the route I said I would go, but the traffic will be less, you will have more small towns to go through, some grades where you have to stop at the sign then go the truck speed limit down them, minor annoyances like that.
    In other words....pick your poison.

Well, you could run 30 all the way across the state... Then you would learn to like our overpriced Turnpike or I-80 and all the hills.

I'd run 80 to 15 south to 322 east, 81 north to 83 south, 283 east to 30 east to 202 north, and 76 east (that section is toll free). Very little construction on those route right now

They are working on the Lewisburg bypass on 15 around Lewisburg, but the construction there wasn't the worst. Were there on vacation a couple months ago.
