Try taking the foam out of the cover, then go to work with a pair of scissors. That's what I had to do to get my Magic Gel seat "Just Right". I cut channels for my legs to avoid cutting off circulation and made a divot for my bony ###. After that it was perfect.

Worth a try. Maybe can salvage that expensive cushion after all. A little arts n crafts.
