Like it matters, they already heard from the safety advocates and the noisy making groups about truck safety, I don't believe it will get any better but more complicated as time goes on.

People in power are not going to listen to anybody......they don't care therefore I don't care. Nothing's gonna change.

I wish they would just leave the HOS alone.

I highly doubt any potential changes will improve things.

Unfortunately. Pretty much what happens when people with no clue make rules that THEY think is safe.

I have some things to say to them but it would probably land me on a watch list.

There is no point mandatory the 30 minute stopping during 11 hours of driving. It's wasteful, cancels the rule keep the left door shut, screws up available parking to nothing several times a day and night... and interferes with a driver's state of mind and body that leans into the work and rolling the miles away.

I wont do it. End. Dot. That's 40 miles you have lost sitting for 30 never mind the time lost maneuvering into and out of truck stops.

You also eat into the fuel average for the trip idling around a percentage.

You expose the truck to a higher risk of accidents or being run into trying to park or being parked.

I can go on. But there is no point.

Not the HOS again, people will be getting all crazy saying stuff like no 14 or 70 hour limits just let the honest drivers do their jobs like they did when they had two log books.
