Load the cows head first

Seems like a locomotive engineer with 15 years experience would be doing better financially than a truck driver. Who convinced you that this would be a good idea? I grew up around cattle in southern Ohio as well, but that doesn't mean I want to deal with hauling them around the country. That's some really hard and dirty work.

Does this mean you unload tail first?

Yeah he should be with those years pushing 100k and with benefits plus stock options if I remember right.
AND it is much safer in rail than it is in trucking.TheyCallMeDave Thanks this. -
Locomotive engineer why would you throw in the towl there that'd be a great job wouldn't it? hauling live stock is a specialty first you've got to put up with the stink you'll never be popular at truck stops only thing worse than a noisy reefer is a stinky cattle float or perhaps some drivers that need a spot to park could pay you to park there you'd soon see lots of trucks skedaddle really quick. the other thing with live stock its the load is always shifting so you gotta watch when going around corners and such personally i wouldn't get into it for those 2 reasons however that's just me everyone has their own likes and dislikes.

@wore out can possibly be of service.

The man is asking for someone to help him start hauling cows. He's not asking everyone to evaluate his situation and tell him what he should do. He already knows what he wants to do.

You can ask some people what time it is. And they'll try to tell you how to build a watch. Or try to convince you that you don't need to know the time.
