ATA Wants 18 Year Olds

This 18-year-olds are in the military BS needs to stop. Every 18 year old in the military are under the supervision of an older and more experience NCO. When a young soldier is doing his/her job, there is usually somebody close by getting ready to yell and scream at him when he screws up. Anyone who's ever served in the military knows that the screwups were quite numerous and it happened quite often.
Car rental companies used to rent out cars to 18 years old but they stopped that. Statistics and real data showed that it was not profitable to rent out cars to 18-year-olds. Now you want them to drive 80,000 lbs trucks? LOL

Nothing against 18-year-olds. I was 18 and served in the military. I have a 19-year-old in college ROTC. I'm just being realistic.

 

Not always. Small shop sometimes the other guys were on road calls.

 

Can't even buy beer or tobacco at that age. But we can send them to a foreign land to kill poor people. What a country!

I agree if it comes to pass they will put themselves out of work. Besides what the hell is an aircraft carrier going to run into? Last time I checked no Jersey barrier in the sea....
