1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. Hi everyone,
Does anyone know of a Trucking co that will accept new drivers that don't have the best driving history? I have 4 accidents in my life, all over 3 years old. Even a terrible company, just something I can use to get my experience. Any help would be great, I've been online looking everywhere for answers. I live in Ca by the way, close to riverside or san bernardino.

    Thank you

go to sites like cdljobs and etc and get in your resume ... alot of companies ask if you have any accidents in the last 3 yrs... some will ask for the last 5 ... some last 10.. but if they ask you for the last 3 ... there is not need to give more information than what they are looking for ... your best bet is to go to a big 10... like swift, jb, schneider, werner, usxpress, england, etc etc etc ... i was with a company that only ask for last 3 yrs.. i didnt offer anymore than that and i got hired.. but that company i was only with them for 3 months back in 2007 ....but yea, your best best if just put the resumes out there and see who nibbles.....

You are gonna have to wait till the economy gets better to get a job with all those accidents. When things get going again, the carriers will hire anything that has a pulse. I even saw a german shepard sitting behind the wheel of a truck at a rest area.
