Name of shop with a 100 ton 20 foot Brake?
-
PG Adams makes frame rails: they have a brake that does 53' worth of 1/2" at a clip last I heard.
Websites must not update often: I saw pics from the new press getting put in. I remember 53' because I wanted to know what wheelbase that'd come out to
jamespmack, Tug Toy, Cat sdp and 4 others Thank this. -
You know what, I'm dead wrong: Logan Steel in Meriden CT got the 53' brake for 1/2".
Tug Toy, wore out, SAR and 1 other person Thank this. -

Rust between 2 separate plates has the strength of hydraulics!!
I took my 5th wheel plate completely off, and found a couple mounting bolts nearly rusted in to. I used a needle scaler to clean the frame, then coated it with Chassis Saver. Replaced the bad bolts and all is good.SAR Thanks this. -
I had a local independent shop do it up.
