He could have said last night I was sleeping, got woke up by some ***** who was scouting out trucks, then some dude came up and tried to open my door, I was going to shoot him ... but I didn't ... end of story.

    By the way,

CCW Reciprocity Maps For All US States (Updated for 2018)

I think this is the only thing that congress needs to do, make it across the country and in every city, you have a concealed weapons permit, it is good everywhere.

Are you allowed to bait them with a CCW??? Let’s say you forgot a empty wallet on the dash or something and you watch from the crack in the sleeper curtains

Yeah it would be but here is the thing, no matter who it is, they get it if they qualify to carry, meaning no felons or mentally ill people.

The real issue I have is that we are all equal under the law but some of the worst people I've seen carrying are those who retired out of law enforcement (not saying all by any means but a few have such tempers and hate in them) and they get to carry nation wide thanks to congress.

I'm thinking my air nailer I use for roughing in houses hanging on the interior bulkhead with the airline attached and safety off should work.

Pulled over, any weapons on board.

Nope. Just doing a little remodeling in here.

While you guys are researching, look up CASTLE DOCTRINE.

In most states, the castle doctrine covers the firearm in any places that you can sleep.

Home. Motels. Cars. Semis and RV's. Tents. What gets drivers in trouble is, like that idiot in West Memphis that found someone breaking in to his trailer fired warning shots. Your TRAILER and whatever is in the trailer is not covered by the castle doctrine. Plus, the only way that the castle doctrine can stand is the 'castle has to be breached' or you are in imminent peril. If you are firing warning shots, you are not in imminent peril. You might want to research 'when SHTF.'

Warming shots are a waste of money. If in fear for you life, "shoot to kill. Dead criminals can't sue you."
This is standard ccw training verbiage in Michigan.

Also, like everything else, practice makes perfect. Don't be one of those people that buy a gun but never go to a gun range. That type person is a danger to everyone. You and your sidearm should be like you and your rig. If you're going to CCW (that's carry the weapon on you, not in your truck...the truck is more than likely covered by the castle doctrine,...well, unless you're in a communist state), do your home work. Then again, if you're going to do an EDC knife, do your homework, there are laws for EDC knives also.

Absolutely not. Forget the where abouts, a man basically lured thieves into his house armed and waiting, he was charged.
