That's Connersville In ** is where we were from. Bill Long didn't know how to manage money. That's why the company folded

@Twenty-One if you live close to the terminal there, or are planning to go home every weekend, it'll be an ok job. I didn't go home every weekend when I was there and mostly sat. It's not worth working through the weekend unless you make sure they give you a long run to last through Monday before they go home. The whole office goes home. Only 1 guy, Hank, works the weekends and that's just certain hours. He's a real nice guy and will go out of his way to help you if you need it.

    Hope this helps.

I greatly appreciate the comment back! They seem like they've changed some things, I use to work for a company that there freight was slow on weekends. If you let them know ahead of time that you're planning on running all weekend will they preplan you? The fact that everyone is gone on the weekends is normal for me. Ive worked at smaller companies and that's the norm. How does there minimum pay guarantee work?

    5speed Thanks this.

How long ago was this that you worked there?
I'm surprised they dont have a detail crew that comes in for the trucks, nothing new though. Do they at least put a new mattress in?
Is it a Streakin' Beacon account for washes?
Is insurance for a single person decent?

    Thanks!

You can let them know but you need to remind them multiple times again, come Friday or you'll get a 650 load due on Monday. I never had minimum pay when I was there. It was .40cpm with benefits, layover pay, break down pay, paid holidays or.....or..... .50cpm with nothing. No benefits, nothing else. Just straight. 50cpm mileage pay and that's it.

No detail crew, and I didn't get a new mattress.
Yes BB for the washes, and I'm not sure about single. If $100 was employee+children, then single should be cheap. Call and talk to Sharon. She handles all that stuff

    Oh yeah.
P.s. all that stuff about our drivers avg 60k plus..... nah. They add in your benefits, layover, all your extra pay and all that to come up to that average.

Cheap rats. They....like so many others could pay an easy .70 cpm with paid benefits and by paid I mean company paid.

    Bull....
I have seen what companies pull in...especially reefer outfits. Trust me....they lie....lie and lie at what they really get. Funny how union company drivers get this on much of the same freight. Think about that...
